Katie Price deflects bankruptcy court again as case moved to 2023


KATIE Price has again swerved into court over her monstrous £3.2million bankruptcy debts.

The Sun can reveal the 43-year-old avoided a court date for a THIRD time earlier this month when she was due to be asked about the money she owes – and won’t face the music until next year.

The liquidators responsible for her empire’s collapse claimed that she was not “fully committed” to paying creditors.

The hearing at the Royal Courts of Justice in London was due to take place on June 7.

But now we can reveal it’s been relisted for February 9, 2023 – giving it a long reprieve.

A source said: ‘The delay will give the courts the opportunity to see how well she is now working with the people she owes money to and provide a clearer picture of where she stands in paying off her debts.’

Much of the money is owed to lenders for secured mortgages against his so-called Mucky Mansion.

The hearing had already been pushed back from February when Katie agreed to a new payment plan with creditors – along with the repayment of a small amount of money owed.

And this hearing had initially been postponed to November 2021.

Her trustees in bankruptcy want to know details of how much she was paid for her television work, including her Channel 4 show where she tried to renovate her £2million country mansion.

Lawyers also looked at his attempts to pay off debts incurred by his now-defunct cosmetics company, Jordan Trading Ltd.

Former glamor model Price, who was once worth £45million, was declared bankrupt in 2019.

She planned to pay £12,000 a month to creditors under an individual voluntary agreement.

However, it is alleged that she failed to honor the agreement.

Last year, the star was hit with a repossession order on his Mucky Mansion in Sussex after failing to pay a £500,000 debt.

But despite an offer to buy another house in Surrey for £1.5million, she owes a total of £3.2million and has several notices of deeds to her property filed with the Land Registry.

This means that the house cannot be sold without the proceeds being used to settle outstanding debts.

Mum-of-five Katie saw her once lucrative media empire crumble after her third marriage to Kieran Hayler ended and her businesses collapsed.

The model is desperately trying to raise funds to pay her bills.

She launched an OnlyFans account with the aim of earning £1m this year, despite having been forced to regularly cut membership fees by £11 a month in a bid to recruit subscribers.

And she flogs her old clothes on the Depop shopping site.
